    Putting the LED's in the mirror is a little tuff. It could also be hooked to lights under the edge of the body that would light up the ground.

    I like that idea, better light output on the ground. Would this work with any LED light I can buy on Amazon? Where exactly does the controller go on the truck? Sorry for the noob questions, just don't have any experience in this kind of stuff but have been looking into possible options for a "welcome" light like you see on BMW's and so forth.

    I mounted mine to a piece of metal and double sided tape to a bolt hole under dash. You can use any LED light with it. As long as its 12v. Or has resistors to protect it if its only a 3v LED.

    You could use this for all kinds of things.

    I'm getting hard side cases for my motorcycle at some point. I've been wondering how to hook up turn signals to the backs of the side cases for more visability. Now I have the answer.

    Once I get the side cases I'll get these from you.

    Yep when the lights flash for the keyless entry it energizes the lights. They stay on for the amount of time you set them for. Then fade to off.

    you may be getting a DM from me in the coming weeks once i get the interior back together. I've got a smart tap turn signal relay in the truck.. but i doubt that'd cause issues (it has entry lights. but its all turn signal)

    just looking for theater lights. the mirror turns are not a big deal to me.
