Ya definitely look them over run your finger along the edges...my passenger side was smooth all around the driver side not so much and I can actually see the roughness. Tacomabeast has been awesome just waiting for return approval from Spyder but ya seller has been great and very helpful.

I don't think it will drag out hoping to get return approval in next 1-2 days.

Glad they are being good about it. When I contacted them questioning about the lights & the resistor problems they were very helpful! Seems like a great company to do business with! I’m glad I decided to go with them for my new lights!

Got my lights:) I did have a small spot about inch maybe along one of the edges but it’s not bad and if you didn’t tell me I wouldn’t have noticed. Got em in. They function as they should so I’m a happy girl!!! I will get pics as soon as I can! I was going to have my headlights taken apart and chrome painted. Now my guy who was going to do it was worried about the seal when putting them back together. He does a spray treatment on the lense that smokes them a bit so I guess that’s what I’m doin.

Awesome glad you like them I'm still waiting on my return info now ha.

Personally I think I would buy the aftermarket black headlights I'm way to scared toess with my oem stuff and those oem headlights are roughly $400+ each. Tons of forum members have done it though.

What’s your opinion on the spray to slightly smoke the headlights? I’m not sure how I feel about it and not sure I want to do it. He claims he’s done many vehicles including his own and it’s legal and doesn’t dim the lights but idk how it couldn’t??

Do you know if there is a thread about that and I could do more research by chance? I tried to find one but had no luck but I’m still kind of new to TW

I found these headlights. Do you know if I got the smoked to match my tails if I’d need brighter bulbs to compensate for the smoked lense? I thought I’ve read that somewhere? Or clear lense?43FBAB86-66C7-46F1-9E2B-5BE23FE3C39A.jpg

Make sure to check out tacomabeast too I know they have some headlights. For the smoked I wouldn't think you would need brighter but you may want to ask the seller. I'm currently running led headlight bulbs and I'm not sure how they would perform through smoked lens for me brighter the better for the headlights.

I looked at Tacoma Beast. When I searched nothing turned up for 2018 so I emailed them. I’m waiting to hear.

You hear anything back about your tails yet? Other than the rough edge we’re you happy with the functionality of them?
