Turn signal to leds 2011 TRD

Has any one changed the turn signals from the factory bulbs to leds with out have to cut the wires. Looking to replace the Flasher relay & bulbs only. I have a 2011 TRD sport.

 

Yup I did, member Skeeter Skeetin' did, but not sure what type you're looking for. Put in VLED's Triton 3 switchbacks, Bulbs and control boxes are included. No cutting or splicing, plug n play.

Hey that's my truck haha. And yeah just go with the tritons. Jake over at VLEDS puts out a great product. Had mine in since they came out. They're the first demo ones out and I've never had a problem. Completely plug and play

 

do these work on an 08 tacoma

Nope they are a tad pricey and yes they will work on an 08 as long as you have dtrls. A few guys without them have bought the kits then complained they only blinked Amber and never stayed white

 

Yep, but they are bright as fuck, they stopped my DTRL's from burning up, and there is no cutting/splicing. Worth it for me, maybe not for you. You do get what you pay for in this case. No crap.

 

I bought these a while back and finally got around to playing with the "switchback" function today.... I think i paid around $50, shipped online with the load resistors included.
I recently re-located my trailer plug into one of my licence plate lights in the bumper. Had no use for the drivers side plate light plug, so i gutted it for the socket connections, then I just inserted them into the blank spots in the turn signal sockets and powered them off the corner markers. I just have to finish it up tomorrow with a switch in the cab to kill the DRL. Worked out pretty good...

 

Dose the kit come with rear leds bulbs for the turn signals?

Yes.

Yes, if you have DTRL's, to use the switchback function. Otherwise you're paying for circuitry you don't need.
