Turn signal wires question

I just received some small 2" led lights that I want to put on the side of my ARB bumper. Since the ARB turn signals face directly forward, people next to me can't see when I'm merging... a pretty big problem. The side facing signals will help this.

Anyways, I just want to run these LED lights and splice them into the existing turn signal wiring, somewhere near the orignal bulb. However, I need to make sure that the green is positive and white is negative, before I go butchering the wires.

Is this correct?

Toyota uses some weird colours. I just like to poke the wire with a pin then check with my meter. This way I'm surer.

 

I think it was like a green with yellow or white stripe. usually white wire is the ground but if you can find a wiring diagram that's better
