If it makes you feel better ... another person driving through a narrow canyon, between a big sharpie rock and a slanted sidewall ... drove up the slanted sidewall to avoid the boulder and put the truck on its side ... literally on its side.:annoyed:

Man, i came into this post with more questions like, Did you get turned into *The* Rock or *A* Rock?
Because those require different levels of thought to advise upon.

    This and that
First. Pop that panel back out.
Second. Viper cut or live with it.

That cut looks like a good cheap option, or just cut it all off under the headlights and a new bumper.

insurance claim will do nothing but ding you, I’d save that for later.

Just added toolbox and roof-rack to haul my fishing boat 100's of miles into the backwoods every week. Goodrich K02s, Bilstein 5100 front and back, no lift.
You could just push it out, fill it out and sand and paint it. Simple job.

If you're the type of person that cant stand seeing the damage every time you go out to drive it and you're meticulous about your car looking good and viper cut isn't an option in say replace it. Yeah you can fix the flare and bumper and get it painted but remember both of those parts have a a slight grainy texture to them so after sanding them down to fix them you'll lose that texture and after laying paint over them you will notice the paint lays over the repaired area a bit different because of it so it will be apparent its been fixed before. If you're okay with that then that's your solution. if not then replace the bumper and flare.
