Is there a list of things Carista allows you to change? Tried their site and nothing listed

I'm so glad the government, and all the posters here that demand seat belt use, are such inclined to make decisions for me that I'm not qualified or authorized to make for myself. With both their help, maybe I can live a healthy, productive, and successful life. Something I'm obviously not able to do on my own without their help and intervention.

What's actually funny is neither of you actually read the link I offered.

Maybe @Jleeb, who initiated the question which everyone else had ignored for almost 4 pages, will have a little more success.

In the very first sentence of that thread there is a reference link to where another member initially did this process with his '17. IIRC that's a 3rd gen.

I merely checked followed it and applied it to my truck.

But hey, it's the same procedure.

My apologies for trying to assist with actual proven tip that requires use of a screwdriver and not some bit of software.

I'll check and see if there is a little more room in my safe place where you fellas can hang out. :hattip:

Again, that’s not what we are even referring to. Your link is irrelevant to our discussion!

Understand the thread started off with seat belt chime. Then it took a little detour with these alternate questions............

Because the door open chime is based on the key being in the ignition, truck running or not..........

What I offered was how those questions can be answered, and it was based on a 2017 model.

If you own a screwdriver and have 10 minutes, give it a try. If it doesn't accomplish what was asked above, just plug it back in. All it costs you is a bit of time.

Dude, what are you not getting? It's a totally different thing on the third gen, which beeps like you're locking the door 3x each time you open a door with the engine running. Now, knock off the BS info that isn't relevant!

Not sure this works for those of us with the stupid button, rather than key. The door open beeping thing is so annoying. If you work in the field, you are constantly getting in and out of the truck. It's incredible annoying that it beeps at you every time you need to open a gate. Thank you for the suggestion though!

Just curious, what's your logic behind not wanting to wear a helmet?

    I'm sure you are right!

The 3rd gen thread embedded in my link was from someone who uses their truck as you do, but it was a conventional key.

Thank you for the courteous reply and explanation. :hattip:
