I am on the fence about purchasing a 4" or 6" db lift because what I really want is a 5" without purchasing a RCD for double $$ what I want to spend. Currently I have billys/eibachs up front and wheelers progressive 3 leaf with tsb in the rear. What I would like to know is what would be a better (closest to a even 5") addition to a 4" lift:

    1. Billys at .85 with stock springs

    2. Billys at .0 with eibach #620lbs.

I ve only seen a couple of folks that have went this route and I was curious on your thoughts. Reason for not wanting to go a full 6" is I don't like the look of 33's on that 6" and I def don't want 34s or 35s. Also, I will have either a 1" and 2" block for the rear to add.

Are you set on 33's? I've got a 6" DB Procomp with 27.5's and I really like the look.

Yes. Iam pretty set on 33's.

Will the billys even work with a DB lift?

Doubt they'd work with a DB lift. You could probably rig something up but I'm not sure.

What makes you say a DB ruins the truck? I know there's lots of DB haters on tacomaworld, but everybody likes different things-especially when it comes to Tacos.

I understand there is a ton of different opinions on DB lifts and I can respect most of em. I live in FL. No rocks, no hills, not much fun for wheeling in my opinion. Just a bunch of sandy trails, mud holes, and an occasional clay pit if your lucky enough to find one. I personally just want the look of a 4-5 inch lift. The only reason I purchased a 4x4 here was for the occasional fishing hole in BFE and some of the steeper boat ramps I frequent. I just need to know if the billys will work with a 4" db lift. Ive seen a couple of guys here using them on zone lifts.
