    This is one of those things you should be able to discern pretty easily from “feel” - if it binds up, you’ll know

    Sand 2016 Sr 5
    The 2016 Tr5 I have gave me a good lesson. I was on dry hard packed sand and in 4x4 Hi. I was in a parking lot and went to bang a U turn, and I felt the lock up. I went to neutral and set the to 2 wheel and eased it back . Some dry enough sand is as bad as paved road . You can break things that will cost a lot of money, and time. I was just doing that once a month lube thing. I am not sure why that is, but it is .

    Came up to the spot. Left it in 4hi and did the 5 point turn no issues. She was a beast coming up. Zero slips. And it's rained. My other 4x4s have always slipped along the way. Even when dry. Lol.
