turning over but not firing

    3.5 lift,detroit lockers,mild cam,small turbo,35in wrapped around bead locks
    My 96 4cyl is turning over but is not starting. Its been running fine no real issues i go to start it and turns over but wont fire new wires and plugs just not starting please help with any suggestions

    Thanks for the reply im not hearing it engage at all i checked the spicket on the fuel rail and had very little to no pressure now ive come to the conclusion. That the pump is bad so im fixing to replace it so any tricks or tips you may have for me please fill me in brother

    Glad you zeroed in. I have never replaced one, but I tell you what - if you don't have the service manual already, you can drop $15 to get a 2 day sub to https://techinfo.toyota.com/techInfoPortal/appmanager/t3/ti

    You will find the procedure there. Also, if you post up a new thread asking about fuel pump swap, I bet a bunch of dudes will chime in.
