I guess not that bad but better now. For mild off-roading it will be fine. If I anticipate some heavy stuff I'll just pop it off.

Interesting.. I hardly even noticed a difference in the driving characteristics. Sure I have to take turns a bit slower but its not really noticeable.

Yea it's mostly the turns. What coils are you running? I'm also just coming off of a 1800 mile trip that I was fully expedition loaded. RTT, two dogs, camping gear, wife's crap, recovery stuff, etc. The additional weight really gets this thing swaying. Especially the RTT

Ahh Gotcha. I'm on 884s with no additional weight.

HAHAHA i go to Colorado with a couple pairs of pants and some flannels. Im not really sure what the heck she brings but the weight definitely needs to be considered and distributed appropriately.

LOL, thats exactly right I've been there and got a few of the T-Shirts. I call it the princess cabin and it feels like we're moving when we go on a trip. I will say when your living on the road for a 16 day trip with 2 dogs, the wife, and two kids it is comfortable. On the other hand the boy and I can pack our lightweight gear in a backpack and be good for a week :) We did many a trips in our 80 with that gear.

That's why I laughed, you lumped her stuff in with the weighty gear, but not yours. I figured you must pack light... or not at all, to not just say "luggage".

Thus why I got new springs though. I only have an inch of rake and don't want my rear sagging.

You have a little bit of rake, do you know your front hub to fender measurements? Mine are 20.25 and 21.25 today AFTER installing 885's. Apparently this is pretty much stock height.. I'm worried the 255's I'm putting on tomorrow are going to rub bad.
