    No, you joke but that's a serious thing. Definitely not to this scale but making fire bricks does seem feasible. I was thinking of making a pipe sleeve with an inner and outer pipe that fits snug and using a hydraulic floor press that you can get from Harbor Freight and pressing sawdust into tubes, pucks or rounds and selling them off at county fairs for example. Not sure exactly how much I'd get out or how frequently I could batch them out but it'd be a good use for something that I typically dump into the trash. I haven't thought much about it other than the initial idea above but it "shouldn't" be too difficult.

    When I said my dad wanted it for his garden, I should have mentioned his garden is probably about a 1/4 acre. It's substantial. So I do think the majority of it will go there and being my dad means he's got first dibs.
