I hate to see what the rest look like. Look like you've been busy.

    Good afternoon!

It's a blinding heat once you get over 110. It's hot, don't get me wrong but it's not something you have to hide in the house for 6 months. People just stay close to A/C.

The house A/C struggles a little when the temps reach 110. She put all the shades/blinds down, to keep sunlight out.

When she in AZ, she tries to do things early morning, or evening when the sun is going down.

the thing about the heat when it gets that hot (110+) is that it never cools down. Your lows are 96 but will shoot up to 105 as soon as the sun comes up.

With a little drop in temps. It still feels good.

She told me, when it's 100 + degrees out, Daytime. Usually the lows are in the 80's. Her solution back then was come to MA.

I got about half cleaned up. Its a hefty job. Which is why I saved half for another day and while I think about a new flooring solution.

Don't get me wrong, 110 sounds miserable. We get 100 degrees here in the summer. Not constantly like you do, but its suffocating when its humid and there's no air moving.

As silly as it sounds, I'll probably never give up the east coast though. I love my ponds and my plants. :)

100 is nice here. The humidity is almost non-existent which makes the higher temps bearable. It'll be 110 with 6% humidity. Like a toasty oven

Monsoon season is different. Could be 105 with 40% humidity. That's miserable. However, the monsoon storms are the best storms you'll ever see. Lightning and Thunder shows that'll have you siting on the back porch for hours just watching.

Come visit, our door is always open for you!

I didn't want to use plywood. I found some walnut planks from the scraps, but they weren't wide enough, hence the 2 pieces. I used thicker piece and made designs on the bottoms of the other easels I made, but I was thinking of ways to make this one lighter. I'm not sure I'll use this bottom for this project cause it doesn't fit the beauty of the top piece. I love the top and want the bottom to be just as beautiful, so I may go ahead and make a design piece for the bottom as well and redo the center.

I don't hate the bottom, so I will use it for another, but it doesn't seem like the right piece for this one.

Agreed. Drawers can have a reinforcing piece beneath it. I suspect this is a showpiece.

If you're prone to dropping thing on the floor. These might be nice, plus comfortable standing.

Should withstand stuff dropping on them.

These are nice to, chemical resistance, slip resistance, easy to clean.
