You need to borrow a kid with lots of energy and set them off together while you can take some naps. :D

Alright, hear me out. Cherry barbecue. It sounds weird, but it smells fantastic! I just sanded some Hickory and cherry wood together and its making me hungry.

So I'm working on the compartment and I was thinking about how im going to join the pieces. I havent tried pocket screws, but there's a jig here and I was wondering if that would make sense to do on the inside for the walls that will make up the box. I thought if the inside was lined with felt or something, then you wouldn't see anything holes or screws. Thoughts?

I think pocket screws would be fine. Some spray adhesive and black or blue felt sounds perfect.

yes!!! It leaves a very nice, slightly sweet taste to the meat. Also, may change the coloring to a more mahogany, so don't get scared by that. We usually mix in oak to help.

Awesome. I'm hoping to get it put together tomorrow. I still need to pick up the sliders first. I think black felt would look awesome, but I can get blue or any color you prefer.

    Let's go with black!
Quick question - the picture frame is flat stock or does it have a profile?

Its flat at the moment. I am planning to try to give it a profile with the router. Unless you'd prefer flat?
