    I've held the yoke, feet on the rudder next to a qualfied pilot. I've also sat jumpseat in a C130 beside the pilots and controlled the plane thru the auto-pilot. That seems a lifetime ago ... 38 years ... 20yo SrA Anderson, Automatic Flight Control Systems Avionics Technician (pointy head). :laughing:

    I don't think I can afford an airplane this close to retiring in 8 years. So that pilot window has closed for me.

    I got the garden structure up today. Going to lowes to get another piece to connect them from above for some additional stability.

    I have a PPL and hang glider license. My mum still laughs because when I was a kid I used to tell people that I wanted to be a bird when I grew up whenever they asked what I wanted to be. Close enough I guess :rofl:
    I fly the Cessna 172, began tailwheel/aerotow training and that came to an abrupt end a couple of years ago.
    I love it but any aerial sport has its risks which Ive experienced first hand as well as my husband (he has a commercial pilot license and is also hang glider pilot).

    That said.. I love it and will probably never stop flying. Its too much fun.

    Would love to pilot a plane. I told a pilot on a commercial airline that if need be I could fly it....I told him if it has wheels I could do it :facepalm:. Anyway I would like to try it.

    That is Awesome :101010::yes:.
