You walked right past the new one today. The one she was wanting me to build was only $80 on Walmart and I can't even get the wood I wanted to use for it for that, so I caved... :anonymous:

    No worries.

In my defense, there were kitties at my feet wanting pets and I was distracted by the other stuff your mom was showing me.

I will need to go down to the mill and get some 1" thick Poplar to make some new window stool. I want to start the trim project in the kitchen since there is very little to do in there and I want to repaint the kitchen anyways. We'll have to go down some Monday or Tuesday when I get the bills caught up. February being short makes bills difficult! :annoyed:

Poplar makes a great paint grade trim. The rest will probably be pine, wonder what they would have.

They got some nice Poplar. I saw it last week when I was there, someone else was going through it. I've gotten white pine there too.

In one of the books I'm reading, I came across this quote about over-communicating which I enjoyed:

"Consider this: The Lord's Prayer contains 56 words; the Gettysburg Address, 266; the Ten Commandments, 297; the Declaration of Independence, 300; and a recent US government order setting the price of cabbage, 26,911."

@TwistedTLM4 hanger is on the back. I'll stamp the back this afternoon. Did you want any stain or finish on it? Or do you prefer as is?
