    Good Morning Mollie :hattip:.

Love the color Mollie. Looks good. Hopefully when it is completely dry the
will blend in and then when the finish is put on you will be pleased with how it came out :101010::101010::101010:

Did you use a rag to wipe the stain on with or mop? If mop, stain it again using a rag. A stain rag to wipe it on and a clean rag to wipe off the excess. That will give it a nice consistent coat.

Then let it dry another day and use the lambswool mop to put on your first coat of polyurethane.

    Good Morning!

I used lambswool to put it on. Did some touch ups and the spot where the fridge was this morning.

It looks different from the other side. o_O

All in all it looks great. When you move the fridge back, it'll be all good again. Just vacuum and lay down your first coat of poly when it's dry. Raw stain is always going to look a bit blotchy especially if you didn't get a very fine sanding buffer on it. After a couple coats of poly it'll really start coming together.

If this is your first venture into sanding, staining and finishing hardwood floors, you did tremendously well. With the darker stains imperfect perfections are what gives the floor character. Remember, you're not done yet. When it's all done, take a step back and enjoy your work, It'll be wonderful!

    Still drying. :playball:

Cleaned and organized the upstairs main room. Took the trash to the dump. Filled the water bottles, did the laundry and made the dining room more liveable. :)
