    So poly will darken it slightly, but not too much. If that's what you're looking for then I'd suggest just the poly. If you want a few shades darker then I'd suggest if you have any time to run over to Lowe's or a hardware store to look at the minwax shades and let me know what ya like. Again, we can test it before so you can see what it will look like before its applied.

    Alternatively, if its too much decision making and you want me to, I can.
