50 ft of 10/3. That cost a little more than $5.

Well I didn't anticipate that taking all morning. I figured I'd be home for lunch, but alas, here I am with a stalk of celery and an apple.

Unless you want 5 pieces of wood flipping skyward, it takes what it takes.

Are you planning to reinforce the bottom with a full sheet or do you think the squares will maintain form under weight for years?

Not criticizing, but just curious ...

Is there a reason you chose 4 rectangles instead of 45 degree corners on the border ... example:

I reinforced the bottom. There's a sheet under there.

    No offense taken.

All my attempts to do 45 degree angles have been rough, so I wanted to not ruin it over the outer frame.

Do you have a chop-saw? My 45 degree cuts like that are not perfect upon close examination, but if I had to do those correctly I would get a chopsaw.

I do. Every time I try to put corners together they aren't perfect and it drives me crazy. I get like a 16th inch gap. :annoyed:

Well ... wood workers have learned about this critical concept called "kerf". Shall I explain it to you?
