So I was looking for a piece that looks like the one on the corner here, but I didn't see anything that looked like that. But another issue they have is that they weren't going to continue it around the corner and the trim at the bottom won't match. The rails are shorter and have a different profile.

Probably going to need an adhesive.

You mentioned rails? Or is it just the beadboard the whole length?

Will this be resting on top of existing baseboard trim? Or are you removing and running the bead board to the floor and then installing new baseboard trim?

Is there a top cap/trim piece?

You'll need to transition from one baseboard trim to another.

You could also cut back the existing baseboard trim a little bit around the corner and wrap the new around and abutt a vertical rail to that.

Ok, what I mean by rails are pieces like this at the top and bottom of the vertical panels.
    unfinished-ekena-millwork-wainscoting-wpkp104bbd-a0_600 (1).jpg

There is trim on there now that is going to be removed, so the bottom rail will be the new base trim. And there is a top piece as well.

I’ve heard and seen the top trim and coping of wainscoting referenced as rails before too. Our walls are varietals of drunken 70s framers and drywallers, so I think we used finishing nails in the drywall and studs, and then a caulk head at the top. Seems to be holding up, but we don’t bang into them much.

Got all my hardware put on today. Before I get too sleepy, here are some of the photos.

Top shelf for a stove, middle and lower storage with built on cutting board and cut out finger grips for carrying. :)
