I have recently received some $2000 from work and I just wanted to see what you guys think I should get. I’m either going to go for a new TV or mods. I already have a TOYTEC 2 ½”F AALR, CIA and catback. If I went for the mod I would buy the APR X-1 programer reccomended by Xrunnit and brunes. As for the TV I have a old 27” non HD POS. Which to choose?

You already know the answer. If this was a TV Owners and Enthusiasts site then you'd get another answer.

By TV you mean television...right? Because if not, we are not here to judge and if it is a preference I'm sure someone here could direct you to the resources you'd need to fulfill your needs, wants and desires.

Do you spend more time watching TV or more time with your truck?

Put that dough down on your personal debt which carries the highest interest rate and get that stuff paid off. Once it is, then you have more money in the future to spend on mods without having to worry about the debt . . .

If you have no debt and want to splurge a bit, my vote is for the TV. You already have an awesome truck but your box needs a serious upgrade to HD :)

    Too few to list.
I use my tv more than my truck so I bought a TV first, then bought my truck. Use the money to where you'd get the most out of it.

I'd say TV man. I'm in the same boat. I need a TV to finish my game room, but I have a pretty much stock truck, which I love anyways. :)

Just make sure you disconnect the Cable/Sat cord before you run your errands.

    Stock for now
I voted TV because I bought one back in July with extra cash and it's the best thing I did. I got Sony 52" Flat Screen and I was amazed at the HD quality.

You can get good TVs cheap these days. Back at Christmas, I bought a 40" Samsung LCD on sale for $800, down from $1400. Wasn't the nicest one available, but it's the best TV I've ever owned, and its a damn nice picture. And because I had just bought a new truck, I had a way to transport it home :D

I say get a TV for around a thou, then put the rest towards the truck, a Blueray player, or to pay off debts (if you have any).
