    Planning to put a 19-24" TV in our travel trailer. This is all new to me so bear with me, i'm probably way overthinking this lol.

    Whats the most logical setup to go with? I would like to be able to watch TV running just off of battery power, no hook ups, no generator. Seems like all the brand name reliable 12v TV's are $$$$, and the cheap Amazon ones have awful reviews. Do i just need to stop bitching and install a power inverter? Any other options i'm missing? Thanks

    Your best bet is to install inverter.

    I know you said you don’t want a generator but I think you should at least consider one. A Honda 1000 or 2000 watt generator are incredibly quiet and there are so many things you can use them for while out in your trailer and even at home.

    $1,099 eu2200 ITAN 2200-watt 120-volt super quiet portable inverter generator with co-minder - 49-state
    eu2200! Just want to make sure the TV will work without a generator running so that we can watch TV before bed without having to get up and go turn a generator off LOL- 3rd world problems

    12 volt TV is the way to go, we picked one up for our boat years ago, worked great and didn't draw much power (inverters use more power than 12v)- was a 22". Got it from Roadtrucker.com
