Ah okay. Think I found it. Four wires?

I wasn't sure if that was it or the wiring remnants from my automatic shift lever.

Yep, four wires, four pins. Probably wrapped in white tape to keep it out of the way until the GBS is installed.

Sorry to revive an Old Thread. What's the part I need to upgrade my current Keyless Entry system on my 2003 Limited? Who is Gunny and does he still sell it? Thanks!!

see first post, part number is in there. @gunny1005
Not sure if "the" gunny is still manning the account or not, from what I've heard he no longer is on the board, but someone else is running the account? Idk.

Every site I have checked says the part is "discontinued", however Gunny was able to get the part for me.

    From gunny:
08586-04820 is for 03-04 only applies to trucks that have remote keyless entry.
    08586-04830 is for 03 only

    Thank you!

I was able to order the part at Camelback Toyota, this is what I got.

Is this all I need to "upgrade" my keyless entry systen on my 03?
    I was expecting another module.

did it come with zip ties and stickers? Also you will need to adjust the sensitivity on the RS3200 module after installation. Setting it to 10 works best for me. One key tap on the window makes it go off, but I don't get any false alarms from other stuff (passing cars, etc).

yes, that is necessary to get the full functionality. Can't remember exactly where it is, but it's a one-pin wire somewhere under the steering column. It's been ages since I did that particular mod.

Yeah it’s taped to the wire loom under the steering column area.

I know this thread is intended for “upgrading” the already installed 2003-04 alarm.... but would anyone have any idea (or direct me to a source) of how I could get my hands on an OEM keyless entry+alarm for a 2002?
