It might sound odd but try greyhound. I know some people ship large items cheaply that way.

Although shipping large items Greyhound is cheaper, it does come with a greater risk. I had an aluminum bumper shipped from Colorado to Oregon. It took over 2 weeks to arrive and the whole time, Greyhound had no idea where it was, and you absolutely can not talk to anyone at a terminal. The only time it was scanned was initially in Colorado and when it arrived in Eugene, OR. When I finally got ahold of someone in Portland (110 miles away) that had their eyes on it, they said they would put in on the next bus out. It was an amazing stroke of luck that I was actually able to talk to someone in the US. Well, nobody took it off the bus in Eugene and it went all the way to Sacramento and then came back the next day.

I retract my previous statement then. That would drive me crazy not being able to track something like that. Maybe start checking with some freight companies or some places that do hotshot trucking. I’d assume ups freight or fedex freight would be very expensive.

I have a business account with fedex, but it’s gonna still gonna be waaay too much money.
