    That's sweet, I have 100k on my 08

It has been bullet proof though, only replaced an alternator under warranty....

I've replaced the alt but that was from an oil leak for like 2 years.

Was the oil leak from the valve cover TSB? Mine doesn't leak, and I can see the nice thick layer of sealant all around the valve cover, so my truck wasn't eligible for the TSB, which is good, since I only have like 500 miles left of warranty...

Got ya, do you like the FR-S? My only hitch is that the RWD would suck in the snow up here, but me and the wife are trying to move to VA, so I guess it wouldn't be as huge of an issue down there...

    this and that...
im in the market for a play car and the frs/brz is on that list. i looked at a few and couldnt pull the trigger cause of the trd/sti variants that are bound to release. another peeve of mine is the 5x100 bolt pattern. it is a nice car though but i would want to address the lack of power ifni intend for this to be my play car.

Don't drive like a tard, and it won't be a problem in the snow. I love the frs even with its "lack of power".

Considering I was thinkin about getting a civic/corolla, this car has more than enough power for me

Both true statements, as I was also in the market for a Corolla. So glad I went with the FR-S.

And no regrets on trading the truck. I never modded it, never went off road with it. Moved a few times but that was it. If I need a truck, I have friends and cases of beer.

Similar story here except I did go offroad and hauled my guns out to the wild much easier. Although I'm hopefully changing jobs soon, if I don't, I have a company work truck that I drive to and from work with. Between that and my wife's little Land Rover LR2 and my Dad's Ranger that he uses to tow behind his motorhome, I'm not too worried about winter. *knock on wood*

The FR-s is meant to be a high rev'er, a supercharger would compliment it nicely.

Im highly thinking about jumping on the group buy for the FA20 stage 1 turbo kit, they claim 300+hp and 215+ torque on 93

I'm leaning towards the Vortek blower with a ECUtune for E-85 and some lightweight pulleys.

E85 isn't too available around me. After talking with a shop that's strictly frs/brz oriented, they believe going with a SC for reliability for me would be the way to go.

Couple local places have E-85 here, so I'd be stuck to going to those places but...its like 30 cents cheaper then 87.
