Yeah I thought about trading the truck... But the payment on this isn't too much to handle, especially at 1.79%

 

Not sure if I want to know... But what did everyone else pay, well sales price... Mine was $23900. I traded my 00 civic Si... After finding the blown head gasket and rear main seal... Ended up being $24200 OTD

 

Manual transmission... They wanted $26919 sticker

Side note - anyone had a CEL with low amounts of fuel? Since late Jan/early Feb, I've been getting a CEL with the fuel needle under 1/4 tank, but before the fuel light comes on. Usually pops up after a hard corner, then goes away the next time I fuel up. Just seems like a starvation problem, which isn't the end of the world, but I feel like it shouldn't be happening. Beuller?

 

No real "update", last Friday they called to tell me, they pulled the header off to reveal a hole in the head (shocker there... haha), and they were awaiting a call back from corporate. I got a call yesterday from them asking me to come down and sign a paper giving them authorization to tear the motor down. When I got there last night they took me though what they know so far, and that they know the car was tuned. They will tear the motor down on there dime to find out why the head blew, if it can be proven the tune was the issue im shit outta luck but if it comes down to faulty parts they will cover it 100%. I did however notice the new head service guy is a looong time buddy of mines dad who I have known for 15 years, he said he didn't know that the car was mine but now that he does he will be doing what he can to help me out. Hope I hear something soon, I need a 2nd vehicle.

 

theyre not gonna give you a loaner?

 

They wont do anything until they can tell its covered under warranty or not.
