I was kind of in the same boat as you as far as not utilizing the truck so much so i jumped into this and living out here in the hill country this car is a dream in the hills, economical and leaves me smiling at the end of the day! Take one for a test drive and that will answer all the questions you have haha

    Forever sideways and smiling :D
I was in a similar situation, but I got a company truck from work. I immediately made the decision that TWO trucks were not necessary, plus fuel in the company truck is paid for  I loved my Taco, modded it heavily for the most part, enjoyed the extra space - but totally missed the MT and fuel economy of a car. Got my company truck on a Thursday, traded in the Taco on Saturday and haven't looked back since.

Biggest thing that you'll have to get used to is the lack of cargo space. Otherwise, assuming your finances are in order, you won't be the least bit upset if you make the switch..DO IT!

Funny you should mention it, my finances could be the one biggest thing holding me back. Whether I trade or not could depend largely on how much they value the truck at and whether I can get affordable financing for the rest - don't really have money for a down payment or anything at the moment but the savings in gas alone would probably offset the extra payments. Gotta love being poor :/

Its an option that I didn't wanna take but did to reduce payments...Lease.

They gave me what I owed for the truck, no money down on the car, leased out the door at 313.

Starting to look at the frs. Hoping to go test drive sometime this week, haven't researched all that much about the car itself, but a good bit on mods. Question I did have is- does it have a back up camera?

If you back up to a curb and you look down at the bottom rear corner of your driver's window and the top of the curb lines up to the corner, you're just barely over the curb.

First off, dont ban me :crapstorm:

Have been looing into a new "car" since my fiance and i split, always used her car for around town or road trips. Now that we been split i been having to drive my truck everywhere and putting miles and wear on the tires and such i rather not have to. Pretty much got my mind set on what ill be picking up but its not the FRS..

Been looking into them for a few weeks and I ahve decided on a limited brz over the frs, I have test drove both and i will take the interior of the brz over the frs in every way. Exterior I prefer the frs but since im paying 28k plus i rather have the interior i want since thats where im gonna be most of the time, also the brz comes in a color that damn near matches my truck :D

Will be buying one when i pay my truck off which will be within the next 4 months hopefully. Hopefully you guys will let me pop my head into this thread every once in awhile

It's the same car so I don't have a problem. I can't stand the front end of the brz in comparison to the frs but it does have some nice features otherwise

The interiors are identical other than the option for leather in the BRZ limited... :notsure:
Or is that the main difference that you prefer?
Either way the cars are the same, the main reason I have an FRS rather than a BRZ is because a year ago (almost to the day today) when I ordered my FRS with a few weeks wait the earliest estimate I was getting for a BRZ was end of year and they didn't even have any for test drives.

Umm, Subaru.com. It should be called the Push button start, fog lights, spoiler, and leather interior edition.

Leather is the reason mainly for the seats, it just felt much better when i test drove it. The keyless entry and push to start was how my ex's car was so im used to that already, and the brz having the NAV headunit, hid lights, and fog lights already is another selling point. I dont plan on trying to do anything to the car minus tint, so if I can buy it as close to as i would want it, thats how i wanna go.

I do agree the front of the frs looks much better, if they offered the frs in another edition with some of the features as the brz limited I wouldnt be opposed to getting one.

The brz also comes in this color, in person its a damn close match to my truck.

Still not a fan of the color of the car tho. It all depends really on when i get my truck paid off and whats available around that time. Subaru will come out with a sti version of the brz at some point im sure also.
