    It has to be much more than that.. I have a 17' jet sled (aluminum) with a yamaha four stroke 90/65 on it.. Just the hull and motor almost weight 1500 pounds (around 13-1400).

    I assume you have to register the boat. The weight is probably listed on the registration.
    Otherwise, get thee to thine nearest weigh station....as suggested.
