Its a matter of pricing power.

Companies with pricing power, which is the vast majority, will adjust and keep margin percentages relatively stable on long timelines.

Companies that cannot will have a harder time.

Stocks dip in the short term because input costs increase faster than consumer-facing companies can adjust prices for most things (energy and food are exceptions). If Molly Maid went up on their prices 15% over 2 years they'd lose a ton of business. You gotta boil that frog with, say, 3% over 5 years instead, or 2.5% over 10.

And lastly, there is the silly silly worker selling his labor. While he technically has a monopoly on his labor and can refuse to sell it below inflation adjusted prices (i.e. demand a raise and quit if it isn't given), most would also suffer very negative consequences like loss of house, car, and possibly spouse along with loss of income.

    The lesson here?

Do not get stuck working for your money.

We’re at another one of those opportune times for companies to buy back their own shares

I made money today. Somethings wrong.

With BBIG in week 2 of barcoding and volume continuing to slowly drop it shows beyond any doubt that retail is holding. There's a share liquidity issue and $1 seems to be the floor. More sideways trading then a quick run up next week is my guess.

TYDE still dropping and it's gonna be fun to see the FTD's when they release. I'm very interested in the FTD's from the day we had 17M in volume.

Really need this to move before NVDA does but it won't. lol
