Oh I am totally light headed. Wait what? Since when was Potassium #19? When did it move? LMAO.

So I am sorry I haven't been on. I have actually been wrenching! A lot. Agh this whole 3.4 swap is very overwhelming. As scientific as I claim to be, I am not mechanical and that part is very overwhelming. I get it in Theory only!

So ladies how do I best get Moly style axle grease outta my carharts? See I assume the hottest water with a degreaser but I am not the best with domestic tricks...

Not a lady but I can tell you that you need to soak them in detergent or degreaser before washing and whatever you do do NOT put them in the dryer until the stain is gone cause the dryer will set the stain and it will be there for life

Simple green worked great for me. Just get the fabric wet and use a toothbrush dipped in un-diluted simple green, and rub until the grease comes out. Wash right away. Simple Green can be found at any store.

Sorry about the sexual references, "wet", "dipped", "rub"... but there was no other way to relay the answer to you. ;)

Like others had posted....do not hit the dryer till it's all out, you can still enjoy dating Mr.Maytag and his spin cycle but stay clear of the dryer.

Other stains you can simply wait till they dry and flake them off with a finger nail. (Are you listening Mr.Clinton?)

GoJo - the white creamy stuff. Dab it on there, rub it in, let it soak....scrub it off. I use that shit on everything that has grease on it.

It's too bad I can't take pictures of me wrenching while I'm at work.....

I just got relocated to another machine (same type of machine). The machine I got located to is considered the *bastard child* and doesn't come close to meeting production quota. I can't say much about the 2 guys who've been running this machine for the past two years...other than... laziness & hammer-heads.

A Co-worker described it like this:
Picture a metal plate with a bolt missing out of it.

Guy #1 - will drill new holes in different locations and put the bolts in those new holes.

Guy #2 - will use a hammer to shove the missing bolt back in the hole.

From what I gather, I've been put over there to FIX EVERYTHING.

I swear to Gawd...I've only been over there for one day and the shit that I saw is totally mind-boggling.

After all these years of working at this company...this is the first time they've actually (what appears to be anyway) applauding my work ethic and efforts.
Now - the challenging part - is wondering whether or not I have enough skill & knowledge to get the job done.

Your nick should be "Goofknuckle". Just stay out of the thread instead of posting negative posts....holy crap.

    OP: good work. Cool pics.

No, it's a chop. But I will be updating it after I put the truck up on my new POS Rustang that I bought for fun.

    Hahaha, whatever. ;)

Probably just going to make it a field car at this point. The frame is way worse than how I thought it would be when I bought it. It's not a safe vehicle for the road. Originally I was going to pop a 5.0L in it for a fun project.....but it's not worth it.
