IMO. I wouldn't go with a 10" chop saw. I think you will find it too small

Yes , sorry I think I misunderstood you were talking about a 10" fixed head

I have 2 , 10" Makita sliding double compounds and a 12" Makita fixed head miter saw

My build

 

This "creek" is usually barely trickling across the road. Typically less than an inch deep, maybe 2 feet wide. I couldn't go through it without swamping my cab

 

Not live, but from the tornadoes today. I know it's not as bad as some of the storms people have gone though lately, but tornadoes are never fun.
