    I went back to a stock exhaust on my truck and it came with that tip. So I dumped the exhaust after the axle and just moved the tip back there to give it a clean look even though it's not noticeable. I guess I just didn't want to throw it away. Exact same sound dumped and with the tip to answer your question.
