    Pretty much - same thing

    Be careful. They are strictly for offroad use. Safari warns to never do highway speed with them on. But take my advice with a grain of salt as my advice is coming from a guy with s bum engine.

    this warning is also why I shy against use of "custom" grills for the standard snorkel intakes.

    good idea - but it needs the correct flow to properly filter. sadly my math skills are lacking when it comes to computing air intake flow.

    yea i looked at those as well...but almost twice the price...

    for something i won't be using all the time, i didn't want to go crazy..

    it'll mainly be for wheeling (mainly moab like conditions) and if i'm snow wheeling while it's snowing hard

    mpgs are better with the airflow hat, so anytime on the road, i'll be using the normal hat
