'66 Caprice. Just over 600HP in the "454", Muncie "Rock Crusher", Auburn LS with 3.90s. Still to be done: 4-wheel discs, sway bars and links in the rear, fully modernized front suspension! He wants to upgrade to 4.56 gears too! LOOOOONG burnouts for the first time since breaking in the motor. He had to let out of it to stop the spinning! Fucking crazy!

 

I don't off road, but I did hit my mud flaps on a speed bump in the Target parking lot. Trimmed off 4 inches with my tin snips. Easy fix.

oops, didn't notice the 454 headers. That thing is a beast!

 

2" primaries. This motor was in an '88 K5 Blazer I had some years ago. Back then it dyno'd 540HP at the rear wheels. (38" Swampers with 4.11s in a locked 14bolt ff)

My buddy put the billet heads and dual quads on it with a little more cam. It's an animal. He popped his "burnout-cherry" this afternoon! The old rubber kept spinning between shifts! He's got about $26,000 in the car now (including the price of the car)! He figures $15-20 more by the time it's done!

Well that's the thing, Stephen. Being a DB just comes naturally to you, so you don't have to try.

If you are referring to the top edge angle, that is intended to allow it to lay flat near an angle sheetmetal seem in the driver side fender next to the battery, right where the unused intake port in the V6 is...hard to visualize until I am ready to take the battery out to install it.

So now you have to guess what it is.

 

Might need to sub-frame it...the torque might tear it in half.

Gotta love those Rotary motors though!!! Nothing like the screaming RPMs they can handle!

Damn that is clean! and fast! I always like how in the summer i aways see so many old muscle cars some old trucks all over up their. Don’t get to see it that much here unless there is a car show going on. I’d LOVE a ’96 to ’72 dodge charger!
edit: my uncale has a GTO. i forget what year it is. he said most the guys find the cars down south because they don’t have rust.
