its only got a vw 1600 in it right now...just stripped it down to paint the frame...the power is pretty good but the gears are too far apart for the dunes.

Kind of a "first and second gear kick ass, 3rd and 4th might as well not exist" kind of a thing?

Have you thought of going with a close ratio transaxle?

Kinda sounds like the accelerator pump is toast, and I tell you what, give a 17 yr an old ass vw baja, take him to the dunes, let him go, and earn much respect for a slapped together, no idea what the hell I am doing inside of an engine, let alone trying to put it together kind of thing...

And that's roughly my introduction into the automotive industry. I was hooked after that engine didn't blow up after a few hrs of nothing less than floored.

Do you have any more pics of the buggy?

It looks like he wants to be up no later than 0635.

If you hit the snooze on the first alarm, it would go off at 0631-same as the second alarm. If you hit the snooze on the second alarm, it would go off at 0634-1m before the fourth, and the last, 0640.

Alarms go off till you turn them off. I suppose if you wanted to snooze, you could turn the alarm off and wait for the next to go off. Better to just get up :)

The snooze on my iPhone goes off in 9 minute increments, I was assuming the same for his, I don't know of a way to adjust it either.. :(
