Raccoons and possums get on our porch all the time and get the cats food. The stupid cat just sits there and watches them, does not even try and run them off or anything.

speaking of opossums, my friend has one hanging around her house and wants it gone. what's the best way of going about despising/relocating the little bastard? note, we live in the city limits so a firearm is out of the question (my method)

 

I’d make a call to SC DNR and ask them how/ and what is the best way to do it legally.

edit: just about all state are going to have a little bit different laws on how you can do it.

 

i'm assuming you're asking if i have a trap?
no trap, not wanting to go and buy one since i highly doubt i'll need it ever again. was thinking about macgyvering up a snare or snag

 

^^ with some dog food, stale cake, corn, whatever. possums will eat nearly anything.

 

havahart is a brand. . .buy a trap. they're fairly cheap and very humane. you'll use them later for stray cats and other rodents. worth the investment.

If its a city area, then your friend might be able to call the local animal control and they will set a trap for you. At least that's how it works in the city here.

 

Gonna use it while playing airsoft/paintball. The price was way to good to pass up. :-D
