    Found this crack in the frame of my cousins truck the other day. It's a 05+ tacoma with a 3" lift. It appears it is in a non factory weld, anyone know why this weld might be here?

    It is Complete Joint Penetration meaning the welder fully heated both base metals in order for them to have coalescence with each other.
