    But it fails to absorb the energy. I noticed a slight wave in my frame that I don't think was there before so hoping its not effed.

    Don't worry too much about that, I thought I read a thread recently about our 1st gens having a bump like that somewhere near there on the frame. Someone claimed to walk through a parking lot checking different trucks and finding it.

    Ill see if I can dig it up

    edit: having trouble finding it... too many rusty frame threads
