I never said I liked it. It is pretty ugly, but some of the features are pretty useful. The rotating shackle mounts are one of the high points.

 

that's the high point i was commenting on.

there are a number of reasons for a modular bumper, but their usefullness has to be engineered into the design. speculation on their speciffic reason to go modular won't get us anywhere, so it's a waiting game now to see why they justified it.

 

The concept is cool, but it looks like they took a heep bumper and made a Tacoma wear it.... and they probably have a pulley for the winch line, at least that what makes sense to me.

 

Yup, they're primarily a jeep parts supplier. They'll have to do some tweaking to the design for it to appeal to non heepers.

yeah, i have never understood that line of thinking. i mean, if i apply, then i decided i'm not overqualified, or at least, i'm willing to the job for a certain perceived pay range....and if i feel like i am worth more than you are willing to pay, then the issue resolves itself.

 

I think it's just a way they help keep turnover rates low.

 

ok, i can see that. but it still seems like a cop-out to some extent and also may disqualify the "right" candidate....if that exists
