Bumper starting slow but coming along

Discovered this yesterday.

 

gotta watch out for those sneaky yellow steel poles. Just when you least expect it they jump out and hit trucks for fun

Lex, I had nearly identical damage occur over the winter. took it to the hand carwash, and the manager, who I know, pointed it out to me (don't know how I missed it, but our winter was brutal). took it to 2 shops who wanted $750 to redo the ENTIRE bedside. took it to another shop who specializes in minor bodywork and they pulled the dent, applied filler, then bodymatched paint and cleared just that exact same area as your damage. cost me $350. came out flawless. wasn't worth notifying my insurance as my deductible is $500. sucked, but I couldn't drive around with it like that
I had no bumper damage though. hope this helps.

 

Just cut it off and put a Pelfrey HC rear bumper on. Won't cause any damage to your vehicle next time.

Starting to look around for a hc bumper now. If it's going to cost me $300-400 to fix, might as well.

 

That's gonna be more than that is my guess. It doesn't look like it would be able to be popped so I'd assume the estimate would be around 700. Just my guess
