    Oh I understand, there's just way too many people in a confined area. Seems like a hopeless battle. Like you said cell use has exploded. They need to just wrap stadiums in cell towers or something.

    Yeah.. I don't know which carrier you use (I have Verizon). Verizon alone has 6 full sites in state college, 1 right outside of town above tussey mountain ski slopes that shoots down into town, and 3 temporary sites we built specifically for PSU home games ( 1 at medlar field, 1 on university drive, and 1 on orchard road). Plus VZW piggy backs off of AT&T's das system inside of the stadium. AT&T has almost as many sites in the area as Verizon does.

    With all of that, the system still overloads every single game haha.

    They're fighting a loosing battle and spending a ton of cash to do it

    I've got AT&T, the only way I get service is using AT&T's stadium wifi. The cellular always chokes up by 9 or 10am.
