    I know Haverfield uses that sort of contraption for trimming right-of-ways of power lines. They fly those spinning saw blades down the boundaries of the right-of-way to clear tree limbs that have a potential of getting into the conductors and causing a phase to ground fault. Its more cost effective then hiring a company to come in and trim everything by hand.


    Im not positive that's what that pic is, but that'd be my guess
