That's cool. Inventor or Solid Works?

 

Solidworks. Inventor would have no idea what to do with this big of a project. The assembly is over 1gb. I need a better computer if I do more of these for this customer though. It took 40 minutes to open and save the assembly.

 

Yes I agree. When I design these large HRSG stacks, inventor bogs waaaaayyyyyy down! We are looking into Solid Works in the very near future. Running Inventor 2015 right now. It performs OK for small stacks and ductwork but for the complex, it's lacking.

 

I can't stand Inventor. I prefer Creo or Solidworks.

 

Solidworks FTMFW! Especially soidcam, that shit was so easy to use for machining

Meh, I use to think it was the bees knees but fuck that program, Dassault is advancing solidworks so much it's almost not necessary for Catia to be around.

 

Creo is a little more advanced than I need, so I use solidworks 95% of the time. I can't stand the sheet metal commands in Inventor. I only use it if I have to.

 

That wheels too nice to put down there, poor thing.
