    Anybody know any tricks on bleeding the brakes on the vehicles equipped with ATRAC? Is there anyway around taking it to the dealer.

    I tried to bleed the brakes the conventional way and when I open the bleeder valve nothing happens... I tried about 10 times on each rear tire and no luck...

    When I popped the hood the reservoir was almost empty. I topped it off and attempted to bleed the brakes and in the end I don't think I got hardly any air out of the rear lines and the reservoir was higher than it was after I topped it off... After that I drove it and the brake pedal was solid on the first try though and was fine around town. I kinda suspect it is my front brakes doing all the work though.

    Did you turn key to ACC or on? Usually other members have helped me when I have done it, but I believe we turned key to ON, then held brake, then repeatedly pushed pedal to floor. Not the expert though...

    I have a friend who is a parts guy at a local dealership and I texted him and he said they have to hook them up to the computer and it tells the system to open and close valves via the ECU to allow you to bleed the brakes:notsure:
