I work in MN, get out of Minnetonka...or do you have to be close to the lake?

I live with my mom right now. I have no intentions of living near here. It's 26 miles to work. I work in Rosemount so I want to be around there. Farmington and Hastings are my preferred areas. No houses available that work for me though.

Realtors are equal to used car salesman, and I don't have a lot of respect for most home inspectors. Not trying to offend anyone, just my experience.

First thing you do is shop around for a Realtor, find one you like and trust. Make sure the company they work for has no interest in the house that they are showing.

 

This is true, and no easy task. We've only bought the one house, when we PCS'd here and had an idea we'd want to stay. My cousin is a realtor in VA Beach, had been for 20+ yrs at the time. Before we moved here from UK, he found us a realtor; took him three weeks of phone interviews before he found one he felt could be trusted and was knowledgeable beyond "used car salesman" level.

 

Had it been legal do do so, I would have gladly beaten my last realtor's kneecaps with a baseball bat, pushed him down several flights of stairs, shit on his face as he lay broken, bleeding, and moaning on the landing, then put 10 pounds of hamburger down his pants and release a pack of coyotes on him, then deploy an A-10 to treat him like an Iraqi T-72. Meanwhile, I would plan Phase 2.
