Psssshhhhh!! The Taco has cruise and my DD does not, so when I'm in the Taco I am taking advantage of said cruise! haha Besides 45 miles of wide open interstate, why not use cruise.

I have 33's so I'm really going about 65 in that pic.

No ABS light. The air bag light is on because my clock spring is broken... The other 4 lights came on when it threw 2 codes. P0420 and P0430. Over the last few months they come on almost every time I drive it. Usually after a few minutes of heading down the road. I clear them out with my ultragauge and they don't come back until I turn the ignition off and back on again.

I still have a few packs in my freezer. They are a few years old now though so won't be as good as fresh...

 

When codes are thrown usually the VSC OFF lights and the ABS lights illuminate , that's why I said it was interesting

 

I have a pre-09 so it's probably different. I only get the ABS light when my VSC/TRAC system throws a code and there is no CEL with those codes.

 

My experience leads me to beleive that letting a steak get to room temp before cooking leads to more tender steak once done. Since the center of the steak will have less temp swing, the meat fibers stay 'relaxed' and tender.

Similar to slow cooking, the slower and fewer degrees the meat needs to get to temp, the more tender it will be.

Taking an extreme example, using a frozen steak and throwing it on the grill will lead to a brick of a steak as the temp swing is too great and too fast for the meat to stay tender.
