    try using oxyclean, the powder stuff. or sprinkle baking soda on it and then use a toothbrush soaked in white vinegar to gently scrub (it will foam, remember making vinegar/baking soda volcanoes?). test them out on the back of the sofa first to make sure it doesn't affect the overall color of hte fabric.

    I swear by this, womens hairspray and a damp cloth, for some reason it works, had a pen explode in my car all over the seats took it all out in a matter of 10 min with hairspray and just dabbing with a damp cloth.
