    Anything to let folks know whats going on. I know at a couple of meets we almost had a collision with another group because of poor visibility due to dust. The lead truck would radio to the rest that we had bikers passing but we never knew how many - between the dust from the trucks and the dust from the bikes you couldn't see anything until you were right on top of people. We'd try to signal to them the number in our group but figured they wouldn't understand since they didn't signal to us.
    If folks give me the signal that they've got more behind them I usually give them a nod or a thumbs up that I understood.
