    About an hour to go! It's funny that the rack that I wrapped (bottom in the pic) has shrunk more than the non-wrapped one - notice the bone on the tips. I would have thought that being steamed would keep it hydrated and reduce shrinking...

    Those are Inspire's! Did you find friends for your Phantom? Did you get a chance to operate one? If so what are your opinions about the differences between the two? I'm trying to figure out if I should spend the extra for the Inspire?

    I went to a workshop put on by a local shop. It was pretty cool. Discussed each drone type, laws n things, all sorts of stuff. Then we went to a park and flew a bunch of theirs, Inspire included. The Inspire definitely has some power to it. The guy said he got his up to like 64mph once with a tailwind lol. One thing I thought was weird is the gimbal seemed to shake a lot on them. It doesn't seem to effect the film too much (as much as I could see on a tiny screen) but definitely not as stable as the P3.

    One benefit of the Inspire is you can actually have two people control it at once, one can fly it and one can work the camera. It's really more used for very, very high end filming. Plus you can move the legs out of the way of the camera, but you can just turn the P3. I bought the P3 and so far it does great to my applications and I use it for business purposes.

    It was cool, we had about 5-6 drones going at once in a small field. Half the people were first time fliers. Surprisingly nobody crashed or ran into each other haha

    Sounds like a good time and informative. We don't have anything in this area that I'm aware of that can provide training or a workshop experience like you were able to obtain. It would be nice though.

    I wonder why the gimbal was less stable? That seems counter intuitive for the higher model. I have yet to find enough pros to constitute the price of the Inspire and with your review, I am leaning even more to the Phantom models.

    Yeah I thought it was odd too. It was wiggling a good quarter inch side to side it looked like when it took off backwards facing us. Not sure why.

    It might just be me not knowing a whole lot about the Inspire, but I was fine with the P3 Pro. I'd definitely do some more research though as I think there's a new model or some add ons coming for the Inspire. Not sure exactly what though.

    I know the Phantoms are a little more user friendly to the new flier too than the Inspire is.

    We're pretty lucky that they opened up a nearby place for all this stuff (about an hour drive from us still though). They only opened up back in like November. It's a great place for sure, they know a lot.
