    They did that with first gens. A pre-runner sits like a 4x4 and is badged TRD and has a locker, but is 2wd. I assumed it was a thing with second gens too.

    Ford made the Ranger Edge like that. 4x4 suspension, 4x4 hood, and rubber flooring. 2WD, no rear locker or traction control. The things would get stuck in gravel driveways :crapstorm:

    I remember way back in the day, my aunt, uncle, and cousins lived at VA Beach; he used to clean their fiberglass boat with that exact method, only more lazy, if it looked like it was gonna rain soon when he docked it, he'd sprinkle comet all over it. :laugh: I remember, even as a ten year old kid, thinking WTF? Thanks Cypher, hadn't thought of that in years. :rofl:

    That's my kin, and now you know a little bit of why I ran away and joined the Air Force at 18yo, and have no plans of moving back. ;)
