    paper towl will actually scratch it more and make it worse...try a microfiber towl...does what your trying to remove feel chalky? also whatever you do dont use it on the inside it will chalk again and you wont be able to get to it without opening them...just water and a soft cloth for the inside..

    think im just going to spray some clearcoat over them and call it a day. good suggestions though.

    that should polish out its not bad...skip the toothpaste and buy the meguiers headlight restorer kit from the auto parts store and they will come up. Dont give up not you already did the hard part!

    i think hes in the middle of doing a black headlight mod or retrofit probably and is trying to clean them up...thats just my thoughts other otherwise yea leave em on :thumbsup:

    its what my detail department at my shop uses...they dont use the little wheels they use regular buffers but they use the same compount and i have seem them fix some pretty bad headlights on trades with it

    i've come up with a better solution. use the lenses from my other set of headlights. done.
